The cabinet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi would soon welcome new members including technocrats who might influence major decisions.
KV Kamath, chairman of BRICS Bank, reported that a study in IANS could be inducted in the Ministry of Finance, headed by Nirmala Sitharaman.
Similarly, as a junior minister, Swapan Dasgupta, a right-wing ideologue, may join the ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD).
