Christmas brings along year end celebrations and people start looking forward to it months before, out of excitement. One such “excited” family was in total holiday spirit and had their entire house decorated for Christmas, a month in advance. The homeowners’ association noticed this advance decoration and dampened their spirit by asking them to it take down. They told them to put it again around 25 December.
According to the sources, at San Antonio, a couple did Christmas decoration much in advance. Nick Simonis and Claudia decorated their house earlier this month, i.e., on 1 November. The decorations had all beautiful stuffs like reindeer, inflatable snowman and Santa with a helicopter. Three days post decoration went smoothly but after that the couple got a letter from the Diamond Association Management & Consulting homeowners' association. The letter informed them that they it is too early to put it up and were asked to take it down. They were told to “remove the snowman until closer to the holiday season.”
Claudia explained that the letter did not mention the exact date they should put up the snowman. She said snowman was the “only decoration” mentioned in the letter. However, the homeowners were told to take down the decoration 10 days after the holidays end. Claudia just found it “crazy” as the letter failed to mention exact dates and timings when to put the decoration up and when to put it down. Entire episode made the couple upset as Claudia is eight months pregnant and is going to be a pain for her to put up the decorations again in few weeks.
The couple however is not in a mood to comply with the demands made by the association.
