21 million wastewater treatment has been officially opened in Inverurie

A £21 million state-of-the-art wastewater treatment has been officially opened in Inverurie, which has the potential to reduce by half the amount of energy used during the treatment process.

Minister for Rural Affairs and the Natural Environment Mairi Gougeon has opened the new works, which is the first in Scotland to make use of an innovative technology called Nereda.
