ABU DHABI — Abu Dhabi is to launch the GCC's first Social Impact Bond, a groundbreaking and internationally recognized financial instrument under the Ma'an Social Contribution Authority to boost private investment to support high-impact social programs.
Social Impact Bonds, which will be released next year, will be pay-for-success based on incentives based on successful social outcomes, a first for state contracts.
