Additional refugee accommodation is promised in Germany.

It is expected that Germany would take in more refugees from Ukraine in 2022 than it did in 2015/2016. The work at hand is too much for cities and towns. The federal government has now declared more support.

Numerous German cities and towns are struggling to cope with the influx of refugees. For some time now, they have been raising the alarm with the Interior Ministry; they really just need some assistance.
