Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) – together owned with the aid of Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala and investment agency of Dubai – has signed a settlement with Dubai natural gas agency (DUGAS), a part of Emirates national oil agency (ENOC), to generate and supply energy for DUGA’s commercial operations by way of the usage of natural fuel supplied through Dubai Supply Authority (DUSUP), with the mission being EGA’s first example of providing its offerings to meet the strength desires of every other company.
According to a statement on EGA's site, the venture will create new revenue streams for EGA that is the third biggest manufacturer of electricity after Dubai and Abu Dhabi's utility providers.
EGA operates a 2,350mw strength plant in Jebel Ali, in addition to an electricity plant at Al Taweelah in Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa commercial zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) that is fired by means of natural gasoline.
