According to the Chief Executive Officer, Adel Mardini, the private aviation company which is headquartered in Dubai ‘Jetex Flight Support’ is expecting that the number of private aircraft movements which it handles will increase by 40 percent during the 2020 Expo Dubai & will remain increased in the following years Mardini stated in an interview with Arabian Business that the company which has its flagship fixed base operator at Dubai World Central is expecting to handle nearly 1 thousand additional flights after the commencement of Expo, which would be an increase from an average of twenty-five hundred it sees over the year at its Dubai FBO. Mardini additionally said that he is confident that the number of incoming and outgoing flights from Dubai will remain lifted after Expo is over. He stated that this will have a huge impact on their business as the people will keep on coming. The investments that are being made by the United Arab Emirates are not for 6 months. They will be showing people what they could do and the ways by which they can grow their businesses. He added that they’re confident that the successful Expo will be reflecting in the growth of their business. The executive chairman of the North Africa and Middle East Business Aviation Association, Ali Ahmed Alnaqbi stated in a separate interview that he is also expecting the entire United Arab Emirates’ and Regional Business Aviation Sector to enjoy the benefits of the Expo and the continuing advancement of the Dubai World Central. A lot of business people will be coming. We are anticipating the business jet movement of the United Arab Emirates to rise, in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in addition to Dubai and various other nearby parts of the region. We will be promoting the business aviation heavily during Expo, with the United Arab Emirates as the major hub for the region.
