As we all know, alcohol is an important part of the modern lifestyle, and almost most of the population consumes alcohol at some level. The trend of alcohol has been rising by the day, and the alcohol industry is ready to keep it up, and the promotion for the sector has been upped a notch to increase the already good sales and turn in more profits.
Alcohol in India is very different from the world. The consumption of alcohol in India has changed drastically over the years. Indians have been consuming the nation made local alcohol that is still very popular, but as the culture has advanced, the love for branded liquor has increased, and there has been a rise in demand as well as the sales of these liquors. We can expect the demand to further grow as the popularity of alcohol rises, but data from Andhra Pradesh is writing a different story. The Andhra Pradesh government on Saturday claimed that the sale of liquor had fallen drastically since the YSRCP took charge in May this claim has taken the nation by storm and the anti-alcohol people have just praised the state more than anyone can imagine. The state is aiming at total prohibition, which is a trend we think will die soon as the so-called dry state of India Gujrat still has illegal alcohol sales on the rise.
Andhra Pradesh is very optimistic about the total prohibition, but it is very difficult to achieve and even more difficult to maintain as we have seen Gujrat has been failing and going off and on for the dry state claims.
