As foot soldiers, you will represent India as brand ambassadors: V-P Dhankhar informs IFS interns

Monday, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar informed the 2022 Indian Foreign Service (IFS) trainees that, as foot soldiers, they will be the country's brand ambassadors.

Dhankhar told the IFS recruits, "Some of us may not be alive in 2047 when India celebrates its centennial of independence, but you will be. You are fortunate to be living in a time when the country's reputation is continuously improving."
