The United States and Australia have agreed to a deal to speed up the process of information sharing related to criminals between tech companies and law enforcement agencies.
The Clarifying Lawful Overseas Use of Data (Cloud) Act deal will enable the two countries to use existing warrants for demanding information from foreign companies to prevent, identify, investigate and punish serious crimes.
