BASF cuts down its board

BASF is to remove six board members, effective from 1st Jan, rather than seven as a part of its cost-cutting program, the German chemicals major said.

Hong Kong-based Sanjeev Gandhi, looking after the Asia-Pacific division and for the Petrochemicals and Intermediates divisions, is to leave the board on 31st December.

Gandhi can leave the corporate “at his own request”, in line with BASF.
