Behind the shortage of treatment for influenza in Iran

Over a month has gone by since a big flu epidemic broke out in Iran. About 80 people have been killed in the past month because of a shortage of Tamiflu flu medication. In the last week, a batch of the critical drug came to the country, though after some people's death.

While the government claimed to be self-sufficient in Tamiflu's domestic production, at critical moments the medication was not available.
