Candidate needs Germans to get Taiwan.

A German man who propelled an appeal asking the German government to build up conciliatory relations with Taiwan has said that he needed to energize open banter about Taiwan so German culture would get familiar with the country.

Michael Kreuzberg, 71, originates from Rostock on the Baltic Sea, which was once part of East Germany.
