CHILDREN ARE PRONE TO DEVELOP SEVERE FORM OF COVID-19

Highlights:

• Recent reports have claimed that children are prone to develop a severe form of COVID-19.
• One out of three hospitalized children required to be admitted to intensive care unit, as per the report almost close to the cases of hospitalized adults.
• The hospitalization rate in case of children with coronavirus infection is lower than those of adults.
