Consumer electronics industry seeks an incentive of tax relief, in the upcoming Budget

Manufacturers of consumer electronics and appliances have been seeking a reduction in the taxes on their energy efficient and eco-friendly products. They seek more incentives for their domestic manufacturing and also for the waiving of custom duty on the imports to make components in the Union Budget that will be presented for the coming year.
