On Thursday, the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) announced that images were taken by the Korean-built Danuri lunar orbiter of an area of the moon that never receives sunlight. A snapshot of the Shadow Cam gadget installed in the Danuri was posted to the website of Arizona State University earlier this week. U.S. academic institution and NASA contributed the camera.
