Despite the economic slump, supercar sales nearly tripled in Korea

Luxury car sales in Korea have been exempted from the consumer slump, with supercar sales costing 300 million won ($255,602) or nearly tripled from a year ago.

According to the Korea Automobile Importers & Distributors Association (KAIDA) on Sunday, from January to November, imported cars worth more than 300 million won sold 360 units worth 147.8 billion won, Nearly tripling from last year's 123 units.
