The Governor of Goa state Satya Pal Malik has been transferred to the state of Meghalaya, where he will take the charge from Tathagata Roy, who has completed his five-year tenure. 
According to a Rashtrapati Bhavan communique, Satya Pal Malik, Governor of Goa is transferred and appointed as new Governor of Meghalaya. It also said that Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari will be taking the additional charge of Goa governor....
