During the gasoline crisis, Bt80 billion to be spent on ten subsidies for low-income earners, according to Thailand's energy ministry

According to Energy Minister Supattanapong Punmeechaow, the government would spend Bt80.24 billion to subsidise ten initiatives to alleviate the burden of high living costs for three months during the fuel-price crisis triggered by the Russia-Ukraine war.

Supattanapong stated that the Oil Fuel Fund will provide 49% of the budget (Bt39.52 billion), while the Social Security Fund will contribute 44% (Bt35.22 billion). The remaining 5% ....
