Ferroptosis may open up new therapeutic options for liver cancer.

Researchers from Georg-Speyer-Haus, University Hospital Frankfurt, and Goethe University Frankfurt have now demonstrated this in mice with liver cancer. The combination therapy was also effective against colon cancer metastases in the liver. The findings were published in the BMJ journal Gut.
