Following the approval of the EU Ship Recycling Regulation, International Shipbreaking in Texas completes its first project

The first ship recycling project for an EU shipowner has been completed at International Shipbreaking in Brownville, Texas, following the stringent criteria of the EU Ship Recycling Regulation.

On January 31, 2022, the 158-meter-long chemical tanker Wolverine, which was formerly sailing under the Norwegian flag, was accepted for recycling at International Shipbreaking, and the project's completion was revealed this week.
