The last monthly update with data on agri-food trade until October 2019 indicated that EU food exports to the US were favorable before the punitive tariffs the Trump administration promised.
During the twelve months between November 2018 and October 2019, the US remained the major European food and drink export destination with € 24.3 billion, with a benefit of € 2.2 trillion per year.
