According to a recent report, an announcement was made by a corporate investigations & risk consulting company, Kroll Inc. that it will be partnering up with the Australia-based pioneering cyber security management & a leader of SCaaS, Enex Carbon, to expand the reach of the company’s cyber risk solutions in Australia.
For the record, Enex Carbon has significant experience in serving diverse client base across Australia, Asia, and Europe along with major ASX 200 enterprises & organizations The firm’s Security Culture as a Service offering (SCaaS) mirrors its primary focus on the human factor of cyber risk and commitment to help the businesses in getting away from the compliance-based security awareness method to one that advances a company’s cyber risk maturity at a ground level by individual and overall cultural change.
As per a 2008 report, the deal initiates Kroll’s foray into Australia to expanding local resources in Asia-Pacific, where over 1/3rd of the global number of cyber security events occurred. The area is the center of a global growth trend due to ground-breaking and technological development. The Enex Carbon team is anticipated to join the cyber risk practice of Kroll and will be headed by Paul Jackson who is Asia Pacific leader and Managing Director.
It is expected that the proprietary technology of Enex will expand the scalability, as well as, the scope of Kroll’s offerings, as there is an alignment of their vision with Kroll’s, providing clients with cyber resiliency solutions, ranging from remediation & restoration to detecting, providing response and hardening.
Jason Smolanoff, Senior Managing Director & Cyber Risk Practice Leader at Kroll was purportedly quoted saying that the firms which create and reinforce strong cybersecurity systems easily lessen cyberattacks, and also respond, as well as, recover rapidly if the incident takes place.
