For their involvement in the 2016 Bastille Day incident, eight persons will go on trial

Eight defendants will stand before the special court of Paris on Monday, six years after the Nice incident, for a brand-new extraordinary terrorist trial that will run for more than three months.

More than 450 people were hurt in this attack on the Promenade des Anglais on the evening of Bastille Day, the French National Day, leaving 86 people dead, including 15 children and teenagers.
