Ford Motor's fleet and heritage operations helped it offset mounting losses in electric vehicles, and on Tuesday the company revealed first-quarter results that notably surpassed Wall Street's projections.

Ford stuck with its previously disclosed 2023 estimate, and the price moved lower in extended trading despite the huge beat.
