Health Minister Francois Braun said Wednesday that the French government might ban throwaway electronic cigarettes, which are popular with teens, by the end of this year.
Braun told France Inter, "I'm in favor of a ban." He also said that the gadgets "lead some of our young people to use tobacco."
He said, "Smoking is a plague; it kills 75,000 people in France every year."
