Fruit containing traces of the most hazardous pesticides has increased by 53% in nine years in Europe

According to a nine-year examination of government data, pesticide contamination of fresh fruits has increased considerably throughout Europe over the last decade.

Pesticide residues were found in a third of apples and half of all blackberries tested, some of which have been related to ailments like cancer, heart disease, and birth defects.
