Many budding designers are no more following the old traditional ways to design fashion stuff we all desperately need in order to look different. What if more advance technologies merge with designing? This merger will help designers in creating designer stuff which is unique yet trending. The best part is all the “trying and testing” will be done online and using trending technologies. Nowadays, designers have also started thinking like techies. The fashion collection is becoming vast and vibrant with science playing a major part.
Designs created using the digital platform are just perfect and we can say are “digitally attractive” too.
Shamees Aden, a London based multidisciplinary designer as well as a researcher has been trying to find many exciting ways for future innovation in fashion. All this she has been doing using science as an important tool. She was trained as a designer at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, as womenswear designer. She started a project called “The Amoeba Trainer” which aimed at probing the future of new design materials. The unique innovation was “materials from protocells”.
“The study of protocells is a new and emerging science that has the potential to drastically revolutionise the way we make materials. Essentially, protocells blur the gap between the non-living and the living. Engineering the emergence of life from lifeless liquid chemicals manufactured artificially in the laboratory could provide the building blocks to create a new man-made nature”. Claimed thisisaive.com claimed.
Popular designers like Shamees, in association with top scientists are setting some innovative and unique fashion trends for the generations to come.
