Göteborg Energi and Siemens have signed a cooperation agreement to test state-of-the-art gas turbine technologies for the application of renewable fuels at the combined heat and power (CHP) plant in Rya, which is currently powered by natural gas.
The goal of the partnership is to promote the commitment that clean or recycled energy sources can provide all district heating in Göteborg, Sweden by 2030.
