GHANA DITCH EURO AND WANTS TO JOIN NEW WESTERN AFRICAN CURRENCY

With the start of the New Year, Ghana’s government is willing to join a Western African currency which will replace the Franc-baked Communaute Financiere d’Afrique (CFA) in eight regional countries. It also urged the members of the currency union to ditch a planned peg to the euro.
