Google is being sued by the family of Nohemi Gonzalez, a 23-year-old US citizen who was among at least 130 people murdered in coordinated Islamic State attacks in Paris in November 2015. The family claims that Google's YouTube should be held accountable for automated suggestions of Islamic State videos.
The US Supreme Court is set to hear a case that could jeopardise the internet's most lucrative business: online ads.
