In September, businesses increased employment by 208,000

As of last Wednesday’s, release of ADP's monthly poll, private employers had added 208,000 new positions.

This follows August's 132,000, which was somewhat higher than anticipated. Meanwhile, annual salary growth was recorded at 7.8 percent.

Trade, transportation, and utilities created 237,000 jobs, the most increase of any economic sector.
