India to Learn from Japan and Singapore to Manage Plastic Waste

According to a report by the World Bank, the world produced 1.3 billion Tonnes of waste per year in 2012 and this number was expected to spike up to 3.4 billion Tonnes per year by 2050. The waste management market of the world was estimated to be at 400 to 1,600 billion dollars in 2020-2021 and is expected to increase by 2030 reaching 700 to 2,483 billion dollars.
