The nine-hour-and-thirty-minute film "Shoah" by Claude Lanzmann, which recounts the extermination of six million Jews who were victims of Nazi ideology during World War II, was inscribed on the "Memory of the World" register by UNESCO as a form of cinematic heritage.
Lanzmann was nominated by the French and German National Commissions for UNESCO, with the backing of the Claude and Félix Lanzmann Association....
