Investor sentiment in the region hurt by Poor earnings which lead to lowering of major Gulf markets

There was a drop in the major gulf markets on Monday as a series of disappointing corporate earnings discouraged the investor sentiment in the region, with Saudi Arabia underperforming other bourses amidst dropping banking shares. Index of Saudi Arabia was down 0.7 percent as all its investors slipped into negative territory with Al Rajhi Bank falling 1.7 percent in the biggest drag on the index.
