Japan government’s Order of the Rising Sun to be presented to Professor Donald Hellmann

A UW professor emeritus in the Jackson School of International studies and of political science, Donald Hellmann has been honored with the prestigious Order of the Rising Sun from the Japanese government, in acknowledgment of his contributions in encouraging educational exchanges and joint understanding between the U.S. and Japan.
