Japan is reconsidering deadly weapon exports by modifying tight regulations

According to a government source, Japan is considering exporting lethal weapons by altering its tight limits on the transfer of defense equipment under its postwar pacifist Constitution.

According to the source, one of the proposals being discussed is that the government will allow such exports on the condition that they assist improve the importing country's deterrence and contribute to Japan's security situation.
