Masatora Kawano qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the men's 50-kilometer race walking after he won an event in Takahata, Yamagata Prefecture in a Japanese national record time marking the Japanese entry to the Olympic race. Japan has been very competitive and this time we think it will be a major name in the athletics race of the Olympics giving the other nation players a very tough competition as they are at their homes and them for sure are going to give their best to look the best in the game at their home in front of their home audience.
Kawano who is just a 21-year-old Toyo University student has achieved this amazing feat, crossed the finish line in 3 hours, 36 minutes, 45 seconds and met the qualifying standard of 3:45:00 set by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations and even set a new , record for the federation in the meantime.
