JAPAN’S INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT IN 2020 DROPPED LOWEST BY 10.1 PERCENT

• Japan’s industrial output in 2020 dropped lowest by 10.1 percent.
• The government’s seasonally adjusted index of output at factories and mines stood at 90.9.
• In December 2020, the index fell 1.6 percent to 93.2 percent.
• The ministry has mentioned that it expects the output to climb 8.9 percent in January.
