JAPAN’S NO. OF JOB AVAILABILITY FELL IN FEBRUARY BY 2.9%

Highlights –

• Japan’s no. of job availability fell in February by 2.9%.
• The number of people in work rose 30,000 in February to 66.97 million.
• The number of unemployed people increased 350,000 in February to 1.94 million.
• In January the country’s job-to-applicant ratio worsened to 1.09 from 1.10.
