The Korean auto industry has been making some movements and shaking the global industry, despite being so small in size. The nations carmakers are wreaking havoc as they go through every challenge in the auto industry and just obliterate through it with their out of the box thinking and their bullish approach towards issues.
Korea’s top carmaker Hyundai has now announced that it will be launching a ride sharing service in California the next month, to be precise Southern California. In this venture it has collaborated with the technology group called Pony.ai and this deal is done via Kia which is an important Korean subsidiary of Hyundai, their on demand service will be named BotRide that at the time of its launch on November 4th 2019 will be giving out free rides to the people in their autonomous vehicles. This will all take place in the city of Irvine. This is a huge decision by the Korean carmaker and it has directly challenged the other names in the auto industry and now with this service maybe even ride sharing companies will also become rivals for Hyundai and there will be a war ensued between all of these elements of the auto world.
Let’s see what this move by Hyundai will cause the auto industry to react and the major carmakers are now concerned with the advances this company alone has been making and it alone is proving a threat to the rest of the world’s auto industry.
