  • On July 30, the Indian government spelt out a dictum that Korean language be taught as one of the foreign languages at secondary school level.
  • Following the announcement from India, the Korean Culture Ministry on Thursday claimed that the Korean Cultural Center in India and the Korean Embassy in New Delhi had a timely function in asking for the need to have Korean on the list.
