Madhya Pradesh minister against liquor ban

On Friday, the minister of Madhya Pradesh, Govind Singh said that there shouldn’t be any ban on liquor since alcohol consumption cannot be forced. He added that whoever purchased it, did so voluntarily.

In a rather bizarre statement, he said that in democracy, one was free and had the right to eat or drink whatever he wished. He stated that they could not pose a ban on drinking.
