MONETARY AUTHORITY OF SINGAPORE ASKS WIRE CARD TO PULL BACK ITS OPERATIONS FROM SINGAPORE

• The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has coordinated troubled German firm Wirecard to stop their payment gateways in Singapore and to restore every one of clients' assets by Oct 14.

In a news discharge on Wednesday (Sep 30), MAS said the move was "in light of a legitimate concern for general society" and that it "gives the best assurance to clients".
