NCLT orders Aviva Insurance insolvency proceedings

In a case filed by Apeejay Trust, the National Company Law Tribunal ordered insolvency proceedings against Aviva Life Insurance.

A two-member NCLT Delhi bench consisting of Justice R D Khare and Sumita Purkayastha allowed the complaint against Aviva Life Insurance and also named a qualified interim Apeejay Trustto run the company's day-to-day operations.
