The pharmaceuticals all over the world are regarded as life-saving companies that help people cure their illnesses, and these companies are the evergreen ones that never face recession or losses no matter what happens. This is because the audience that they cater is never going to stop taking products from them as they love to be alive and cured off of every disease there is.
The pharmaceuticals in the process of creating drugs to help people also generate a massive amount of hazardous waste that has been dumped improperly by these companies as their treatment cost a fortune and cuts down on their vast profits. Large amounts of flammable solvents are used during these processes, which usually require several steps to make structurally complex drugs and to cause more harm by the waste that comes out of this. Researchers have now found a new method to produce pharmaceutically relevant compounds in just two or three steps which will eliminate the trash that it makes, with water as the only waste product, using renewable wood chips as starting material which is readily biodegradable and won't cost the environment of the pharmaceutical companies.
With this new method, the pharmaceuticals now are worry-free of the waste dumping, and they can even lower the prices of their products as the new method they will be using in the future is very cost-effective. We expect the pharma to adopt this very quickly, so the drug prices are reduced, and the harmful products that hurt the environment can be eliminated.
