Obesity and gum diseases may be linked, a new study suggests

A new research attempts to study the effect of obesity on gum diseases and evaluates the possible pathways which can reflect the interconnection between the two.

The study was published in the British Dental Journal. Andres Pinto, Professor, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences, Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine is the co-author of the study.
