Officials from Johor claim Nurses are in short supply in Malaysia because they prefer to work in Singapore for higher compensation

According to The Malay Mail, a Johor official has highlighted higher compensation in Singapore as one of the key reasons for the Malaysian state's nursing shortage.

The number of Malaysian nurses and doctors working in Singapore is increasing.

According to Johor's Health and Unity Chairman, Ling Tian Soon, the state is short between 15,000 and 18,000 nurses, a problem he plans to bring up with Malaysia's Health ....
