Crude oil prices continued to see a rise on Monday, as the geopolitical tensions between the United States and Iran have been escalated. Futures for Brent crude, used as a global benchmark, has seen a rise of 2.4% and reached at $70.24 per barrel. It’s the first time in more than six months that the prices had seen such a rise. US oil futures have seen a rise of 2.1% and are at $64.36 per barrel.
