Orient Electric rises by two quarters in double digits following economic slowdown

HYDERABAD: Given the prevailing economic slowdown, major consumer durables Orient Electric Ltd said double-digit growth has been observed.

The firm, which clocked a growth of around 20 per cent in the first two quarters of FY20, hopes the upward momentum would continue throughout the remainder of the fiscal cycle. In comparison, the industry recorded growth of 7-8 per cent.
